  • Financial Donations (Safe and secure online donations via Bloomerang)
  • Choose to make a monthly financial commitment to help care for child abuse victims all year long
  • Host or coordinate a fun(d)raiser in your community
  • Launch a Peer-to-Peer or Birthday Challenge – ask friends/family to match your donation or give to DCAC in honor of your special day
  • Employer Match – Ask if your employer has a charitable gift process to match your donation or give a charitable gift at your request
  • Select Dickerson CAC as your charity for Walmart Spark Round Up
  • Event Sponsorship
  • Volunteer your talents and resources

Wish List For the Children

  • Bags of squishy/fidget/stress toys to help relieve anxiety (see links below)
  • Children/Teen DVD movies
  • Fast food gift cards for clients/families.
  • Gas gift cards for clients/families.
  • Amazon/Walmart/Target gift cards for client needs.
  • Grocery store gift cards for client needs.
  • Make gift baskets for therapy clients (for different holidays) – approximately 30-40.
  • Snack items (individually wrapped) and juice boxes.**
  • Sponsor a monthly team breakfast ($50-75) to review child abuse cases. Participants include law enforcement, social services, child advocates, therapists, medical personnel, school mental health staff, and others as needed

Our children need “squishy/fidget” items in their hands as they recount the horrendous experiences they’ve been through during their interview, medical exam, and through months of trauma therapy to help them recover and thrive. These are items that are helpful in their journey:
