For over 30 years Dickerson Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) has served thousands of children and their families.
Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) is a non-profit, child-focused organization serving children ages 0 to 18 who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma. We provide forensic interviews, medical exams, trauma-informed therapy, family advocacy, and lead the Safe Babies Court program in Lexington County to support infants and toddlers in the child welfare system. DCAC also coordinates Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) to ensure collaborative care and offers training and prevention education to equip schools, childcare providers, and community partners to recognize and respond to child maltreatment.

What is a CAC?
Your generosity whether through donations or resources directly supports our ability to provide healing services, advocacy, and hope to those who need it most. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the children we serve.
DCAC Internship Program
Through experiential learning, one-on-one supervision and exposure to both clinical and administrative functions, our interns develop a strong foundation in evidence-based assessment, treatment and advocacy.
Give A Gift
Your kind donations help us create a warm, supportive, and fully equipped space for the children and families we serve. We’ve curated three Amazon Wish Lists to meet specific needs throughout our center.
